Ric

[Verse 1]
Before I knew the road ahead
Before the vows we'd one day said
Heaven wrote a love divine
And held it till the perfect time
Then on a ninth of May so bright
God made two hearts one in His light

[Chorus]
Thank You, Lord, for this good man
Thirty years held in Your hand
Through the mountains and the rain
You stayed our center, You remained
Ric, you're my rock, my soul, my song
God gave you to me, where I belong

[Verse 2]
You gave your heart in every way
A selfless love, day after day
A daddy to Cherie, Shantal
And Spencer, you have given all
The best of husbands, truest friend
My lover till the very end

[Chorus]
Thank You, Lord, for this good man
Thirty years held in Your hand
Through the mountains and the rain
You stayed our center, You remained
Ric, you're my rock, my soul, my song
God gave you to me, where I belong

[Bridge]
In the hardest times, we knelt and prayed
In the sweetest times, we sang His praise
Every season, every year
Lord, You've kept us, You've been here

[Verse 3]
So here's to thirty years ahead
More mornings, prayers, and daily bread
I love you, Ric, with all my heart
With all my soul, we'll never part
My best friend and my forever
Bound by grace, we'll walk together

[Chorus]
Thank You, Lord, for this good man
Thirty more held in Your hand
Through the mountains and the rain
You'll be our center, You'll remain
Ric, you're my rock, my soul, my song
God gave you to me, where I belong

[Outro]
Thank You, Lord, for this good man
My forever, by Your hand
