Sandy

[Verse 1]
A screen and a message, a spark in the dark,
Two strangers who trusted a leap of the heart.
We laced up our boots for a waterfall climb,
And life just took over, one day at a time.
Then off to the Bahamas, where the warm winds blew,
Our "Harem" of forever friends, and me and you.

[Chorus]
You're my happy, my safe place, my home,
The one hand I'll hold when the wild rivers roam.
Sandy, my lovey, the light in my soul,
The sun through the window that makes my heart whole.
The salt of the earth, the seasoning true,
Bzillions of reasons I'm falling for you.

[Verse 2]
Blue eyes and that sandy-gold hair in the breeze,
We flew over Alaska high up in the trees.
Then cruising through Japan, the islands and sea,
Every new adventure, just you here with me.
Wherever we're headed, whatever we do,
The bravest thing I did was falling for you.

[Bridge]
We use the term bzillions when we say we love each other—
bzillions of big blue balloons…
And still it's not enough to hold this much of you.

[Verse 3]
So here's to new beginnings, San, one more time,
The peanut butter sweetness, our life's sweet rhyme.
You're the salt of the earth, the preserver of my life,
I'd choose you again, love, my forever wife.

[Outro]
My ray of sunshine, my home, my own—
Bzillions of balloons, and you're never alone.
