Mary Davie

[[Verse 1]
Twenty years of storms we walked right through,
Both holding on when skies turned dark then blue.
We learned to stand when the ground gave way,
And found a light to guide us through the fray.
Through every night, we chose to rise,
With warrior hearts and hope behind our eyes.

[Chorus]
This is your new beginning, shining through,
The bravest soul I ever knew.
Healing hands and a heart of gold,
Stronger now than the fears you hold.
You keep on smiling through the rain,
And rise up brave and whole again.

[Verse 2]
Oh Mary, you're a warrior true,
Your boys stood tall and gave their strength to you.
Sweet James and Dusty, Luke so brave,
With love and hope, they stayed through every wave.
And little Alfie at your feet,
Your loyal heart when the fight felt incomplete.

[Chorus]
[Chorus]
This is your new beginning, shining through,
The bravest soul I ever knew.
Healing hands and a heart of gold,
Stronger now than the fears you hold.
You keep on smiling through the rain,
And rise up brave and whole again.

[Bridge]
Through twenty years of winding road,
Your sons and you would share the load.
You never let your light grow dim,
Sweet Mary, you always let love in.

[Verse 3]
As you continue your journey, here's to more,
Adventures, laughter, memories in store,
With James and Dusty, Luke so near,
A brighter chapter, free from fear
So take my hand and don't look back,
The best is waiting down your track.

[Chorus]
This is your new beginning, shining through,
The bravest soul I ever knew.
Healing hands and a heart of gold,
Stronger now than the fears you hold.

[Outro]
Oh Mary, courage lights your way,
A whole new dawn begins today.
