Kevin

[Verse 1]
Some love starts with a little doubt,
I almost closed that little screen,
But I took a chance and said hello
To the kindest eyes I'd ever seen.
That same night at a Red Robin,
You had me laughing till I cried.

[Chorus]
You're my strength when I am weary,
You're the light that leads me home,
Babe, you saw the best in me
Before I'd ever known.
Four years of love and laughter,
My best friend till the end.

[Verse 2]
You loved me when I couldn't love me,
Held my hand through every mile,
A hundred fifty pounds behind me,
You cheered me on with that big smile.
Kevin, you pull those long hours
Just to keep our family strong.

[Chorus]
You're my strength when I am weary,
You're the light that leads me home,
Babe, you saw the best in me
Before I'd ever known.
Four years of love and laughter,
My best friend till the end.

[Bridge]
You said go on and get that degree,
Now I'm chasing my master's too,
You think I can do anything,
And I believe it 'cause of you.

[Verse 3]
We bought our house this April,
It tested us, we held on tight,
Three rescue dogs, your daughters,
Broncos on a Sunday night.
Those black eyes and that brown skin
Still steal my breath away.

[Chorus]
You're my strength when I am weary,
You're the light that leads me home,
Kevin, you saw the best in me
Before I'd ever known.
Four years of love and laughter,
My best friend till the end.

[Outro]
I owe this beautiful life to you,
Every dream that we've begun,
Kevin, my everything,
My forever, my someone.
