Jason

[Verse 1]
Two hallways crossing, years ago
Just friends who let the moments go
You were older, wiser, kind
Then time and distance fell behind
Twenty-five years, and heaven knew
That road was leading me to you

[Chorus]
Forever my big daddy
Gentle giant, hold me now
Two broken hearts made whole again
Somehow God worked it out
Today I take your hand and say
I do, I will, I'm yours to stay

[Verse 2]
We came here carrying our scars
Two weary souls beneath the stars
But grace came walking through the door
And love was more than we asked for
This healing that we found is true
The peace I'd prayed for lives in you, Jason

[Chorus]
Forever my big daddy
Gentle giant, hold me now
Two broken hearts made whole again
Somehow God worked it out
Today I take your hand and say
I do, I will, I'm yours to stay

[Bridge]
We said goodbye to those we loved this year
I made a promise, and I hold it dear
I'll take good care of you, come storm or rain
Until my dying breath, I'll ease your pain

[Verse 3]
On this September day I rise
To meet the light within your eyes
The one that God designed for me
My gentle giant, patient, free
A brand new start, a faithful vow
Jason, I become your wife right now

[Chorus]
Forever my big daddy
Gentle giant, hold me now
Two broken hearts made whole again
Somehow God worked it out
Today I take your hand and say
I do, I will, I'm yours to stay

[Outro]
Down this aisle my heart is sure
Jason, our beginning starts secure
Forever, gentle giant mine
Faith and hope, our hands entwined
