Jim Gibson

[Verse 1]
You were the Emmy winning host,
a Star Search voice with business style,
I was the swimsuit pageant queen
who'd write and teach and heal a smile.
Our worlds crossed paths, you sang to me
the Music of the Night,
and the rest is history.

[Chorus]
Jim Gibson, you're my sunshine,
my fixer upper, through and through,
the world sees a star, a host, a voice,
but I see Mr. Fix It in you.
Blue green eyes, quick wit, and grit,
it's a wonderful world with you!

[Verse 2]
October '99, Mar-a-Lago,
friends and family by the sea,
Melania and Donald signed as witnesses,
and you sang I Swear to me.
Now Jimbo's eighteen, tall and proud,
and Gracie snores at our feet.

[Chorus]
Jim Gibson, you're my sunshine,
my fixer upper, through and through,
the world sees a star, a host, a voice,
but I see Mr. Fix It in you.
Blue green eyes, quick wit, and grit,
it's a wonderful world with you!

[Bridge]
You crowned the queens on every stage,
from Hawaiian Tropic to Miss USA,
but I'm your calendar girl, Miss January,
your Mrs. United States.

[Verse 3]
You sing God Bless the USA,
it moves each heart, but mostly mine,
we pray together, laugh all day,
two Dr Peppers every time.
Baxter and Maggie Moo smile down
on the life we built with love.

[Chorus]
Jim Gibson, you're my sunshine,
I'm your pumpkin, through and through,
my jack of all trades, my giving man,
my prayers were answered in you.
Blue green eyes, quick wit, and grit,
here's to many more with you!

[Outro]
Twenty seven years, my sunshine,
it's a wonderful world tonight.
