Bethy

[Verse 1]
Morning light upon the hill
Whispers that He's with us still
Every breath a gift of grace
Every sunrise shows His face
And when I count the gifts He gave
I find you there, so strong, so brave

[Chorus]
Hold on to faith, hold on to love
There's peace that's falling from above
When I can't stand beside you here
His arms will hold you, calm your fear
We'll trust in Jesus, come what may
We'll be together again someday

[Verse 2]
Bethy, you find a song in everything
Where I see winter, you see spring
You smile through every storm that came
Your hope still burns, a steady flame
I thank the Lord for you each day
And Jazzy's laugh along the way

[Chorus]
Hold on to faith, hold on to love
There's peace that's falling from above
When I can't stand beside you here
His arms will hold you, calm your fear
We'll trust in Jesus, come what may
We'll be together again someday

[Bridge]
It breaks my heart to think of days
I won't be here to watch the way
Our Jazzy grows, the dreams she'll chase
But heaven holds a sweeter place

[Verse 3]
So when the big days come around
And I'm not there to hear the sound
Just look up, Bethy, I'll be near
In every prayer, in every cheer
Keep that bright outlook shining through
Our Jazzy learns her light from you

[Chorus]
Hold on to faith, hold on to love
There's peace that's falling from above
You are the love of my whole life
My answered prayer, my precious wife
We'll trust in Jesus, come what may
We'll be together again someday

[Outro]
Hold on to grace, my love, hold on
His mercy greets us every dawn
I'll see you on that golden shore
And love you, Bethy, evermore
